The Rotary Club of Kirkland, which has been a part of the Kirkland Community for 72 years, held its annual Transition Dinner on July 13 at the Woodmark Hotel. The purpose of this dinner was to thank the outgoing President, Bob Webb, and his Board for their service and welcome in the new President, Jim Feek, and his Board. The club was honored to have 37 past presidents in attendance; their terms of office dated back to 1965-1966 with Dr. Ernie McKibben. In addition, the club honored its Rotarian of the Year, Brandon Honcoop, for his service to the club and the community – especially for his work with local high school students and the Scholarship Committee.

The Rotary Club of Kirkland meets Monday nights at 6:15 p.m. at the Woodmark Hotel and welcomes visitors. For more information, contact David Aubry at 425-827-3811 or daaubry@hotmail.com.
