Kirkland Police Blotter July 1-7

The weekly Kirkland Police blotter is represented on an interactive map below. Instead of listing the selection of calls separately, this feature allows the information relating to the call to be placed on the map itself.

The blotter feature is both a description of a small selection of police incidents and a statistical round-up of all calls to the Kirkland Police Department that are dispatched to on-duty police officers. The Kirkland Reporter Police Blotter is not intended to be representative of all police calls originating in Kirkland, which average about 800 per week.

Between July 1-7, the Kirkland Police Department reported 288 traffic violations (seven DUIs), 13 traffic accidents, 34 fireworks violations, 24 noise complaints, 24 car prowls, 19 alarm calls, 16 thefts, three domestic violence calls, 11 animal control calls, seven burglary calls and six acts of fraud.
