Kirkland man goes missing on Kilickitat River during rafting trip

A 23-year-old Kirkland resident is missing after a weekend of rafting on the Klickitat River in George, Wash near the Gorge.

A 23-year-old Kirkland resident is missing after a weekend of rafting on the Klickitat River in George, Wash near the Gorge.

Christopher Dube went missing just before 8 p.m. on Sunday night after he went underwater near Leidl Falls, according to the Klickitat County Sheriff’s Office.

The search began immediately but was called off at dusk. Dube is presumed drown by officials.

Dube is a Juanita neighborhood resident, member of the St. John Vianney Church in Kirkland and is a photographer.
