The King County Medical Examiner has identified the 36-year-old Kirkland man who went missing on the Snoqualmie River last month as Curtis Hall.

Hall and three friends were on an inner tubing trip on the river in an area south of Snoqualmie Falls on June 30 when he fell off the tube about 5:50 p.m. and was unable to climb back on. Sheriff’s Office dive and water rescue units searched for Hall until dark, but were hindered by a river running high, fast and cold, the Sheriff’s Office said at the time.

Hall’s body was found July 13 washed up on a river bend in Fall City.

His death was ruled an accidental drowning by the medical examiner.
