Area chefs were challenged to create a delicious, nutritious dish that could be swallowed easily. Patients being treated for oral, head and neck cancers often struggle with dry mouth, difficulty swallowing and lost of taste because of the side effects of treatment. According to the American Cancer Society, more than 60,000 people in the United States are diagnosed with oral, head or neck cancer each year.
