Jay Sand to give concert at Totem Square in Kirkland

Jay Sand, children's music educator, ethnomusicologist, and creator of the award-winning, Philadelphia-based All Around This World music curriculum, will be giving two back-to-back performances at Totem Square in Kirkland on July 24.

Jay Sand, children’s music educator, ethnomusicologist, and creator of the award-winning, Philadelphia-based All Around This World music curriculum, will be giving two back-to-back performances at Totem Square in Kirkland on July 24.

The event will inlcude a free Outdoor Children’s Concert at Metropolitan Music at 3 p.m. and a “Grown-ups Concert” at 4 p.m. with a World Music Jam for the entire family at Northwest Cellars Winery.

A $5 cover per adult is required with kids 12 and under free.

Kirkland’s own Daniel Miller of the Rockory Music School will be opening both concerts.
