The following is a release from the Washington State Department of Transportation:
Drivers on Interstate 405 between Bellevue and Lynnwood should prepare for possible delays Saturday evening, May 30, through Sundaymorning, May 31.
Contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will close several lanes and ramps on I-405 between State Route 520 in Bellevue and Interstate 5 in Lynnwood. These closures are needed to complete traffic shift and striping work for the I-405 Bellevue to Lynnwood Widening and Express Toll Lanes project.
Lane closures:
- Saturday, May 30, to the morning of Sunday, May 31
o Up to three lanes of northbound I-405 between Southeast 8th Street and SR 520 will close starting at 7 p.m. The first lane will reopen by 8 a.m. and all lanes will reopen by noon.
Ramp closures:
- Saturday, May 30, to the morning of Sunday, May 31
o The Southeast 8th Street on-ramp to northbound I-405 will close from midnight to 7 a.m.
o The northbound I-405 off-ramp to Northeast 4th/8th Street will close from midnight to 7 a.m.
o The northbound I-405 ramp to eastbound and westbound SR 520 will close from midnight to 7 a.m.
o The Northeast 4th Street on-ramp to northbound I-405 will close from midnight to 7 a.m.
o The Northeast 8th Street on-ramp to northbound I-405 will close from midnight to 7 a.m.
o The southbound I-405 off-ramp to Northeast 195th Street will close from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m.
o The northbound I-405 ramp to SR 527 will close from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m.
