Come feel the heat of the competition between the Kirkland Fire and Police departments during the Second Annual Chili Cookoff at 1 p.m., Feb. 7 at Aegis Lodge. Also in attendance will be the King County Search and Rescue.

The free event will include the opportunity for attendees to donate to the women and children living at the Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission. The Aegis Lodge at Totem Lake is located at 12629 116th Ave. N.E.
