Environmental grants available to Washington high school students

To encourage student participation in local environmental stewardship projects and enhance student understanding of community service and philanthropy, Washington Foundation for the Environment (WFFE) awards multiple $500 grants annually to support student-initiated or student-implemented environmental projects meeting local needs.

Washington state high school students are encouraged to apply for a grant to support an environmental project. WFFE accepts applications for stewardship grants between September and June. For more information, visit www.wffe.org/studentstewardship.htm.
