Elite Martial Arts in Kirkland raises more than $2,000 for Seattle Children’s Hospital

Students at Elite Martial Arts of Kirkland raised $2,131 during a fundraiser benefitting Seattle Children's Hospital.

Students at Elite Martial Arts of Kirkland raised $2,131 during a fundraiser benefitting Seattle Children’s Hospital.

“We are so proud to be part of such a great community, one that is always willing to come together and make a difference,” said Julia Irion with ilovekickboxing.

The kids collected donations for a “Break-A-Thon,” where the karate students had to break as many boards as they could to earn the donations from their sponsors. The adults took part in a “Kick-A-Thon,” with the ilovekickboxing program. On the day of the event they had to do roundkicks, push ups and burpees to earn their donations from their sponsors.
