This year’s theme, “Exploration, Encounter, Exchange in History,” has attracted hundreds of student-contestants from all over the state. The students went through a regional contest with the winners competing at state. The state competition was held on April 23 at the Green River College in Auburn.

The eight students from ICS emerged either as first or second place winners. In addition, special awards were given to a number of ICS students in their respective categories.

This year the team was led by teacher Mr. Mark Elliott.
