“EastsideHelps” launched

With the current state of the national and local economy on the minds of many, the Eastside Human Services Forum and Kirkland Conversations have launched an online resource guide “EastsideHelps” for residents who need help and those interested in offering help during these difficult times. Kirkland Conversations, an informal gathering of Kirkland community leaders, recognized that many Eastside residents may be in need of assistance for the first time and others will be particularly motivated to give what they can. In response, a partnership was forged with the Eastside Human Services Forum (EHSF) to launch the EastsideHelps website—an online resource that consolidates helpful information. Beginning today, EastsideHelps will be available at www.eastsideforum.org/eastsidehelps.

Kirkland Councilmember Dave Asher is the convener of Kirkland Conversations, with Kirkland Councilmembers Lauinger, and Mary-Alyce Burleigh joining him at the table.
