The city of Kirkland’s Design Review Board approved a permit on June 3 for a developer to build a five-story building in downtown Kirkland.

The city of Kirkland’s Design Review Board approved a permit on June 3 for a developer to build a five-story building in downtown Kirkland.

Applicant Tony Fan, an architect at Studio Meng Strazzara, proposes a mixed-use project at the current White Swan Carwash and Chevron site at 324 Central Way.

The building will consist of ground floor retail with four stories of residential units above. Parking will be provided within structured parking.

Only the applicant or anyone who previously submitted written or oral testimony or comments to the Design Review Board are entitled to appeal this decision.
