Pacific Sound Chorus wins regional a cappella competition

The Pacific Sound Chorus won regional gold medals at the regional a cappella chorus competition recently held in Spokane.

The Pacific Sound Chorus won regional gold medals at the regional a cappella chorus competition recently held in Spokane.

As the Washington/Alaska Regional Chorus Champions, Pacific Sound Chorus now advances to an international a cappella competition in Baltimore in the fall of 2014 where the chorus will compete with 32 other regional winning ensembles.

Pacific Sound Chorus scored 605 point, placing first in all four adjudicated categories: music, sound, expression and showmanship.

Chorus members from Kirkland are: Carol Drew, Dee Neff, Gayle Robinson, Nancy Noel-Pierce, Joan Teutsch, Juanita Harwood and Kim Kamal.
