Kirkland resident Leah Christine Tott received the highly selective P.E.O. STAR Scholarship June 2 at the Bellevue Christian High School 2009 Awards Ceremony. The daughter of Chris and Debbie Tott of Kirkland, Leah was recommended for this award by P.E.O. Chapter A of Seattle, and is one of only two recipients in Washington and 151 total in the U.S. and Canada. Leah has been accepted to the University of Texas at Austin, Butler School of Music, where she plans to study bassoon performance.
