City phone, computer system shuts down

The City of Kirkland's phone and computer system is temporarily not working due to a technical glitch, said Marie Stake, city spokeswoman.

The city expects the system to be functioning properly by Thursday morning, she said.

Residents will be unable to access the city via phone or online services until then.

The 9-1-1 system remains operational.
