Home Instead Senior Care is teaming up with local businesses and Meals on Wheels to sponsor “Be a Santa to a Senior.” This program, which benefitted Kirkland seniors last year, runs from Nov. 10 through Dec. 5. Trees will be placed at: The Gardens at Town Square Retirement, 933 111th Ave. N.E., Bellevue and Pogatcha Restaurant, 119 106th Ave. N.E., Bellevue. Ornaments with a gift request will be on the trees. The community is encouraged to take an ornament, purchase a gift and return it to one of the two locations unwrapped. Briarwood Health Center in Issaquah is hosting a resident wrapping party at 2 p.m. Dec. 9.
