Kirkland natives make dean’s, president’s lists and graduate from Gonzaga

The following Kirkland natives graduated from Gonzaga University on May 7:

Benjamin Anderson, Bradley Ballard, Nina Braddock, Kelsey Glenn, Marilyn Hoag, John Houston, Amanda Johnson, Eleanor Lyon, Ciara McGlynn, Ciera Nooney, Kevin Oury, Alex Read, Nathan Ryan, Mary Squires, Leah Talkov, Megan Walsh, Anthony Waltier and Carleigh Williams.

These students have either completed their undergraduate degree or are expected to complete their degree requirements this year.

In addition, a number of Kirkland natives have made the dean’s list or president’s list at Gonzaga.

Dean’s list:

Annika Becker-Brown, Nina Braddock, Clint Bull, Trevor Farthing, Isabel Gregorio, Leah Horslen, Alan Khaitov, Ciara McGlynn, Ciera Nooney, Mary Squires, Olivia Toland, Penelope Toland and My Lien Truong.

President’s list:

Hanna Brender, Kevin Bureau, McKenna Ferrera, Caitlyn Glenn, Marilyn Hoag, Eleanor Lyon, Kathryn O’Brien, Justin O’Farrell, Natalia Oliveri, Hannah Stanger, Leah Talkov, Anthony Waltier and Morgan Zann.

Students must earn a 3.5-3.84 grade point average to make the dean’s list and a 3.85-4.0 grade point average to make the president’s list

Gonzaga is a private Catholic, Jesuit and humanistic university providing education to more than 7,800 students. The school offers 75 fields of study, 26 master’s degrees, doctorate degrees in leadership studies and nursing and a juris doctor degree through the School of Law.

Gonzaga’s commencement ceremony was held in Spokane’s Veterans’ Memorial Arena.
