Kirkland-based Crème Tangerine to perform Sgt. Pepper’s album with orchestra, Castle

Kirkland-based Beatles cover band, Crème Tangerine will team up with a 21 piece orchestra and six-string violin virtuoso Geoffrey Castle to recreate one of pop culture’s milestone events by performing The Beatle’s 1967 iconic “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” album note for note and in it’s entirely at the Kirkland Performance Center at p.m. on April 17 and 18.

Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” album note for note and in it’s entirely at the Kirkland Performance Center at p.m. on April 17 and 18.

The Fab Four rock classic is listed as No. 1 on Rolling Stone’s “Top 500 Greatest Albums of All Time” list and defined the record as “an unsurpassed adventure in concept, sound, and songwriting.”

Crème Tangerine and the orchestra will perform the entire track listing from that album in order, along with an extra full set of Beatle favorites.

“It will be so exciting to see a the Kirkland Performance Center packed shoulder to shoulder with people celebrating Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” for two nights,” said Crème Tangerine lead singer Byron Prather. “This music truly is a common bond people share together. We look forward to this show being a moment to experience this beloved music live, rock out, smile and have a lot of fun celebrating the Beatles. We hope people will come out and enjoy it all.”
