I would like to ask people who drive their cars to remember to look before turning right in an intersection.
I walk a lot around Kirkland and when I start to cross the street – on me having the green light – and I start out when people do not look to see if someone is crossing. I don’t know how many times if I hadn’t been paying attention I would have been hurt. I still think I will one day. Between kids, radio or phones there are too many distracted drivers.
And just because I haven’t finished crossing the street doesn’t give you drivers the right to make the turn.
I suggest people should review the rules of the road.
Thank you.
