Learn about the various robotics programs available for students of all ages during a youth robotics open house from 3-4:30 p.m. July 18 in the Woodinville Library meeting room. These fun, educational programs encourage creativity, teamwork, leadership skills, problem solving and more. Learn about the “FIRST” family of youth robotics programs – Jr. FIRST LEGO League (ages 6-9), FIRST LEGO League (ages 9-14), FIRST Tech Challenge (high school ages) and FIRST Robotics Competition (high school ages). Also find out about the VEX Robotics Competition, a program that encourages students to apply real-world math and science concepts to solve the annual challenge.
