News brief: Brand serves as page

Nathan Brand, a Lake Washington High School sophomore, served as a legislative page in Olympia and was sponsored by Rep. Roger Goodman in the House of Representatives. Brand is part of the Kirkland Youth Council, has almost reached Eagle Scout (finishing requirements), plays basketball, track and has an interest in politics, said his mother Juanita Brand.
