LW’s Karulin takes ninth in 100 backstroke at state

Lake Washington’s Alex Karulin took ninth in the 100-yard backstroke in 53.84 seconds at the 3A state swim and dive championships on Feb. 17 at the King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way.
