LW softball, baseball teams notch victories

Lake Washington’s softball squad amassed 33 hits during a 30-1 victory over Sammamish on Monday.

Marissa Ewald had five hits, including a homer, and four RBIs; Anna Robinson had a homer; Jamie Pippin had five hits and five RBIs; Lindsay Allan had four hits and four RBIs; Tori Bivens had four hits and three RBIs; Abigail Mills had three hits and four RBIs; and Emma Rosendal had three hits and three RBIs.

• In baseball, LW beat Interlake, 8-4, on Monday.

Nation Wood had four hits and Joey Wishart had three hits and three RBIs.

Mercer Island beat Juanita, 12-3.
