Lake Washington wrestlers perform well at sub-regionals

The Lake Washington Kangaroos wrestling team had five wrestlers advance to the regional tournament after turning in a stellar performances at the KingCo/Wesco 3A sub-regionals on Feb. 2 at Edmonds-Woodway High School.

Gabe Bivens (170) earned third place in his weight division. Kangaroos grapplers capturing fourth place consisted of Ian East (152) and Faris Khilfeh (195). Lake Washington wrestlers finishing in fifth place were Kyle Earl (126) and Donovan Acevedo (170).

LW earlier earned the 3A KingCo dual-meet title with a 7-1 record.
