Kangs qualify for 3A state tennis tournament

Lake Washington’s doubles team of Shubhu Purohit and Nedim Suko won the boys district tournament and qualified for state along with Kang Charlize Yeh.

The 3A state tourney will take place May 25-25 in Kennewick.

The boys defeated their Lakeside opponents, 6-0 6-3, in the final, and Yeh beat her Nathan Hale foe, 2-6, 6-3, 6-3, in the consolation round at districts to make state.
