The Juanita High School girls basketball team ran past Mount Si on Wednesday night, 65-27, holding the Wildcats to single digits in scoring during each of the final three quarters.

The Juanita High School girls basketball team ran past Mount Si on Wednesday night, 65-27, holding the Wildcats to single digits in scoring during each of the final three quarters.

Juanita began the game with the hot hand on offense, scoring 24 first-quarter points. The Rebel defense shutdown Mount Si during the second quarter allowing just four points as a team. The Rebels took a 39-15 lead at halftime.

The second half of more the same as the rebels outscored their opponents 26-12 to earn the victory.

Shalexxus Aaron led the Rebels with 16 points, while Tea Adams scored 15. Jaisa Nunn finished the contest with 12 points.
