Kenzie Waltar, a Juanita High alumnus and senior University of Washington rower, was named to the first team of the 2018 Academic All-Pac-12 Women’s Rowing Team. She graduated on June 9 with a bachelor of arts in English with a minor in Spanish and a 3.71 grade-point average. Waltar was also named to the Collegiate Rowing Coaching Association’s National Scholar-Athlete list, which is open to upperclasswomen who rowed in 75 percent of races and compiled a GPA of 3.5 or higher during their academic careers.
