Northwest Perennial Alliance launches new group in Kirkland

The Northwest Perennial Alliance, one of the largest non-profit volunteer gardening organizations in Washington, is launching a neighborhood group in the city of Kirkland.

The Northwest Perennial Alliance, one of the largest non-profit volunteer gardening organizations in Washington, is launching a neighborhood group in the city of Kirkland.

The association offers lectures, garden tours, plant sales and supports neighborhood garden groups learn more about perennials and hardy plants in the region in an intimate and localized setting. It is also a partner at Bellevue Botanical Garden, where the associaton maintains the famous NPA Border and offers hands-on learning opportunities through classes, workshops and volunteer crews.

By joining our group you have the opportunity to:

• Learn about horticulture

• Try out creative garden crafts

• Visit gardens and nurseries and other organized trips

• Participate in hands-on workshops at the NPA Border at the BBG

• Improve your gardening skills

• Create lasting friendships with other local gardeners
