Kirkland kids take part in international Rubik’s Cube competition

Kirkland Middle School sixth grader Matteo Droz, 11, and his brother, Mark Twain Elementary fourth grader, Luca Droz, 9, took part in their second international Rubik’s Cube competition on April 8 in Las Vegas at the Advanced Technologies Academy.

Matteo solved the 3x3x3 cube in under 30 seconds, his best time was 27 seconds; younger brother, Luca solved it in just over one minute at 1:03.

Both solved the 2x2x2 cube with best times of just over 12 seconds.
