Kristina Warford had a memorable game on Wednesday evening, leading the Juanita High School softball team to a 13-5 KingCo 3A-league win over Mercer Island at South Mercer Playfields.

Kristina Warford had a memorable game on Wednesday evening, leading the Juanita High School softball team to a 13-5 KingCo 3A-league win over Mercer Island at South Mercer Playfields.

Warford finished 3-for-4 at the plate with three RBIs, including a single to right field that opened the scoring in the first inning.

The Rebels led Mercer Island 9-3 after three innings, and rode the arm of Eden Radke for a complete-game victory. Juanita drew 15 walks from the Mercer Island pitching staff.

Next, the Rebels are scheduled to play Interlake at Juanita High School at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 31.
