UW’s Engreitz named to Pac-10 All-Academic gymnastics team | Sports brief

Ruby Engreitz, a junior at the University of Washington from Kirkland, was named to the Pac-10’s first team all-academic.

Engreitz has a 3.66 GPA and is a psychology major at UW.

Student athletes must have a minimum 3.0 GPA to be named, and be a starter or significant contributor to the team.

Engreitz broke her career highs on all four of her events, plus the all-around during the 2011 season.

Six Huskies were given all academic honors this season.
