U8 Bumblebees finish season undefeated | Sports briefs

The U8 girls soccer team, the Bumblebees, who play with the Lake Washington Youth Soccer Association, recently finished their season undefeated.

The team of 7-year-olds who attend Frost, Keller and Muir Elementary schools, were 6-0 during a preseason tournament and 7-0-1 in the regular season.

Their last game at Marymoor park featured wet, muddy fields.

The team includes: Roxanne Taggart, Emily Nikolai, Mackenzie Burke, Natalie Rinker, Samantha Henry, Natalie Ferrara, Erin Ryder and Kayla Huff. They were coached by Chris Burke.
