The United States Tennis Association held its annual Northwest Washington Invitational Tennis Tournament at Central Park Tennis Club in Kirkland Jan. 21-24.

The following are the results for the finals of the tournament by age and gender.

Singles

Mens’ 35-and-over: Scott Shogreen, Everett, def. Philip Ansdell, Bothell (6-2, 6-2). Mens’ 45-and-over: Ansdell def. Charl Grobler, Wenatchee (6-4, 4-6, 6-1). Mens’ 55-and-over: Doug Ruffin, Olympia, def. Timothy Sprague, Lake Forrest Park (6-1, 6-3).

Womens’ 35-and-over: Rebecca Stapp, Olympia, def. Rochelle Whelan, Mercer Island (6-3, 6-4). Womens’ 45-and-over: Gina Wackerbarth, Clyde Hill, def. Cora Wills, Vancouver BC (7-6, 6-7, 6-4). Womens’ 55-and-over: Mary Wiegenstein, Woodinville def. Jandi Fraser, Vancouver BC (6-2, 6-3).

Doubles

Mens’ 35-and-over: Mark Haeckel and Jay Schalin def. John Foster and Chris Romney (6-1, 6-2). Mens’ 45-and-over: Kerry Bucklin and Doug Blik def. David Larson and David Maeser (7-6, 6-4). Mens’ 55-and-over: Arthur Lockwood and Doug Ruffin def. Douglas Denney and Scott Terry (6-3, 6-1).

Womens’ 35-and-over: Rebecca Stapp and Rochelle Whelan def. Carla Lyons and Ann Whitney (6-3, 6-2). Womens’ 45-and-over: Janice Holloway and Pamela Rosenbaum def. Karen Dunlop and Kay Lorrain (6-2, 6-2). Womens’ 55-and-over: Holloway and Rosenbaum def. Janice Clark and Jandi Fraser (6-1, 6-3).
