Redmond pounds Lake Washington in baseball despite two RBI day for Dunlap

On Tuesday evening the Lake Washington High School baseball team hosted Redmond, who beat the Kangs 8-3. Redmond was the first to round the bases, earning one run in the first, but Lake Washington held the Panthers to no additional runs until the fifth inning when the Redmond batters started connecting with the ball for five runs. Lake Washington had two of their own in the fourth, adding just one more in the sixth, before Redmond closed out the show in the seventh with the final two runs of the night.

Trevor Dunlap was 1-for-3 at bat and had two RBI for the Kangs, while Redmond’s Josh Bircher was 2-for-3 with three runs and Dylan Davis was 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.
