The Providence Classical Christian boys' soccer team moved to 9-0 on the season with a 1-0 win over Cedar Park Christian (Mount Lake Terrace) on Friday, Oct. 7.

Providence Classical is the smallest of the Kirkland schools to offer athletics. The Highlanders compete in the Class 1B Northwest Conference, and have allowed two goals all season thanks to seven shutouts from senior goalkeeper Jackson Morris.

Providence Classical beat Mount Vernon Christian, 1-0, on Oct. 6 in a matchup of undefeated teams. Freshman Jackson Letsche scored in the 66th minute on a cross from Joey Moisant.

Next, the Highlanders are scheduled to play La Conner on Saturday, Oct. 15.

The Providence Classical Christian volleyball team won its fifth match of the year with a 3-1 nonconference victory over Seattle Lutheran on Friday, Oct. 7.

The Highlanders (4-1 Northwest, 5-1) have won four matches in a row, and sit behind Cedar Park Christian (Mount Lake Terrace) and Tulalip Heritage for third in the conference standings.

Next, the Highlanders are scheduled to continue conference play at Lummi High School on Wednesday, Oct. 12.
