Panthers Youth Rugby is encouraging boys and girls in middle school and high school to “Get into Rugby this fall.”
The program for players in grades 1-12 runs from September to early June and practices are currently happening Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at Grass Lawn Park and Marymoor Park in Redmond.
“We are confident that kids who give-it-a-try will really enjoy the sport and everything it has to offer,” reads a press release. “This includes making lifelong friendships, entering heavy league colleges that recruit rugby players and offer scholarships, being selected by one of the Rugby USA National Development Centers, going on tours out of state and abroad — Europe, South Africa, New Zealand, to name a few — and having the best time of their life.”
