Northwest University’s sophomore guard, Dak Shagren of Custer, Wash., has been named the Cascade Collegiate Conference Player of the Week as announced by the league office today.

Northwest University’s sophomore guard, Dak Shagren of Custer, Wash., has been named the Cascade Collegiate Conference Player of the Week as announced by the league office today.

Shagren has made a quick recovery from an early season broken left hand which sidelined him for the first five Eagle games. Last week, Dak shot 59 percent for three games including 53 percent from the three-point line. He scored 26 points and went 6 for 10 from beyond the arc (60 percent) in the Eagles win over NAIA Division I Lewis-Clark State on Friday night. NU has won six straight games since Dak rejoined the team with Shagren averaging 17.16 points per game in those six wins.
