Northwest University splits with No. 17 Concordia | College softball

Concordia’s Lucy Baldovino pitched a six-hitter during the first game as the Cavaliers (32-12, 13-5 CCC) held off the Eagles, 5-3, but Northwest University’s bats came alive for 10 hits in game two as they upset the Cavs, 9-3, on a six-hitter by Kierston Perry at Hoodview Park on April 7.

Sophomore Katelyn Riedinger had a big day for Northwest U (9-19, 5-15 CCC) going 4 for 7, driving in five runs and hitting her seventh home run of the season in the two games.
