The defenses held strong with 18 total shots begin taken, 11 by HIU (2-0-1) and seven by Northwest U (0-4-1). Lauren Patefield, NU goalkeeper earned the shutout making six saves in goal for the Eagles while HIU’s keeper, Kayla Jensen, made one save for the Royals. Hope International came into today’s game having scored nine goals in their first two games.

Northwest U will now head north to the upper desert in Southern California and their final game of their trip in Lancaster, when they play the University of Antelope Valley on at 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
