Lux U16 Gold wins Memorial Day Tournament at Lee Johnson Field in Kirkland

The Kirkland Baseball Commission Lux U16 Gold baseball team won the Kirkland Colt division Memorial Day Tournament sponsored by Lee Johnson. The tournament was played May 21-24 at Lee Johnson Field in downtown Kirkland.

The Kirkland Baseball Commission Lux U16 Gold baseball team won the Kirkland Colt division Memorial Day Tournament sponsored by Lee Johnson. The tournament was played May 21-24 at Lee Johnson Field in downtown Kirkland.

Lux defeated the Kirkland Legends, 8-1 during the championship game on Saturday. Lux earned its way to the finals with a 21-1 win against North Seattle Blaze during the first round, an 8-2 win against the Maltby Battle Cats and a 6-1 victory against the Maltby Aztecs.

The Lux roster is comprised of players Matt Scheffler, Austin Bivins, Dillon Ferguson, Noah Lux, Tony Nunez, Blake Voutour, Spencer Bayes, Alex Hunter, Lyle Goldstein, Stossi Tsantilas, Pierce Belleman, Jack Boeggeman and Ethan Liggett.
