The Lake Washington High School boys basketball team was doubled up during the fourth quarter against Liberty and lost 46-37.
The two teams played close during the first three quarters. Liberty took a 6-3 lead as a defensive struggle ensued during the first quarter. The Kangs tied the game up entering the fourth quarter but the Patriots took over during the final eight minutes of play.
Liberty outscored Lake Washington 18-9 during the fourth to take the contest.
Jeff Staudacher led the Kangs with 20 points.
