Lake Washington track and field teams lose to Inglemoor despite good throwing day

The Lake Washington track and field teams lost to Inglemoor Thursday, with the boys going down 106-38 and the girls 124-24.

On the boys side, Kang Ian Oglive won the discuss with a throw of 114-feet, 2-inches. Lake Washington’s Hayden Hurley took first in the Javelin with 159-feet, 5-inches. The Kangs’ Filip Juric won the triple jump with a distance of 36-feet, while Kelen Lewis took first in the 110-hurdles in a time of 17.6 seconds.

On the girls side, Aurora Charouhas won the shot put for the Kangs with a distance of 29-feet, 3.75-inches. Charouhas also won the javelin event with a distance of 104-feet. Jordan Masters won the triple jump for the Kangs, with a distance of 27-feet, 7-inches.
