The Lake Washington High School baseball team smashed Sammamish, 11-2, on Wednesday in Kirkland.

Ryan Horita picked up the win for the Kangs, throwing six innings, giving up just one earned run, seven hits and striking out seven batters.

Lake Washington was led on offense by Connor Johnson and Tom Scheffler, who each finished 2-for-4 with three RBI.

Lake Washington host Sammamish at 4 p.m. on Friday.
