The Kangs built a 35-0 lead during the first half. Lake Washington quarterback Adam Long started the scoring with a one-yard touchdown run and then connected with Jake Wikel for an 81-yard touchdown pass to take a 14-0 lead.

Jake Steele scored on a seven-yard touchdown run and Long found DJ Mann for a 41-yard touchdown pass to give the Kangs a 28-0 lead with less that six minutes left in the second quarter.

The Kangs would also score on defense off an interception before halftime.

Long would connect with Mann and Wikel again before the end of the game for two more touchdowns.

Mercer Island scored most of its points during the fourth quarter.
