The Lake Washington High School softball team scored five unanswered runs to defeat Liberty, 5-1, on Tuesday at home.

The Lake Washington High School softball team scored five unanswered runs to defeat Liberty, 5-1, on Tuesday at home.

Liberty got on the board first with a run during the second inning. However, Kang sophomore Tori Bivens shutdown the Patriots, throwing a complete game, walking four and striking out five to pick up the win.

Hannah Walker led the team on offense with two RBI.

Lake Washington will travel to Mercer Island for a 4:30 p.m. game on Monday.
