Lake Washington, Juanita players earn all-league hoops honors

Thirteen players from Lake Washington and Juanita earned all-2A/3A KingCo boys and girls basketball honors this season.

On the girls’ side, LW’s Rosa Smith, Sophia Liesse and Elise Hani and Juanita’s Chelsea Hill made the first team; and LW’s Jen Estes and Ellie Pederson and Juanita’s Joy Haltom and Kayla Huff were honorable mentions. Hani was the defensive player of the year.

For the boys, LW’s Evan Liggett was a second-teamer, and honorable mentions were LW’s Ben Nyquist and D’Von Fisher and Juanita’s Cooper Mcleod and Jordan Tate.
