The Lake Washington High School baseball team earned a two-hit shutout against Sammamish, 5-0, on Tuesday, thanks to a complete game by starting pitcher Connor Johnson.

The Lake Washington High School baseball team earned a two-hit shutout against Sammamish, 5-0, on Tuesday, thanks to a complete game by starting pitcher Connor Johnson.

Johnson finished the game giving up four walks and striking out four during seven innings.

Lake Washington staked Johnson to a one-run lead during the first inning and then three more during the third.

The Kangs were led by Michael McGaw, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, while Austin Lively was 3-for-4 at the plate.

Lake Washington will travel to Bellevue to take on Interlake today at 4 p.m.
