The Lake Washington High School boys basketball team beat Interlake 56-43 on Tuesday thanks to a strong second-half performance.
Lake Washington took a six-point lead during the first quarter but trailed by two points at halftime. But the Kangs came out of the locker room ready to win, nearly doubling up the Saints during the third quarter, 19-10. The Kangs continued the run into the fourth quarter to complete the victory.
Lake Washington was led by Sahil Basra with 10 points and Shawn Ogier with nine points.
The Kangs will travel to Sammamish High School for an 8 p.m. game on Friday.
