Lake Washington boys lacrosse splits two at Northwest Invitational

The Lake Washington boys lacrosse team destroyed Timberline 13-3 on Saturday during the Northwest Invitation at Mercer Island High School. But the team didn't fair as well against Lake Oswego, Ore. on Sunday, losing 10-9.

The Lake Washington boys lacrosse team destroyed Timberline 13-3 on Saturday during the Northwest Invitational at Mercer Island High School. But the team didn’t fair as well against Lake Oswego, Ore. on Sunday, losing 10-9.

Against Timberline, the Kangs built a 7-1 lead by halftime and cruised to the victory behind three goals each from Cody Bernstein, Hank Schmale and Cooper Ramstead.
